First Trimester Of Pregnancy
Updated: Feb 25, 2021
Firstly if you are reading this congratulations must be in order ❤️
The first trimester starts from 1-12 weeks of pregnancy which is the first stage of pregnancy, which is counted from the first day of your last period. Many women don’t find out they are pregnant until the missed period and most test positive between weeks 4-7, meaning you are well into your first trimester by the time you get that second line on the pregnancy test.
The body is working overtime during the first 12 weeks, as the egg begins to divide into layers of cells and implants creating the embryo. Your baby grows the most during the first trimester, which starts to slow down from the second stages. At this stage the fetus begins to develop a brain, organs, spinal cord and a heart beat all in the first 12 weeks - we find this just fascinating that something so small has the ability to form so quickly and perfectly ❤️
The First trimester of pregnancy is the time to begin taking pregnancy vitamins, light regular exercise, drink plenty of water and watch what you are eating. For example, pregnant women should not eat raw fish, make sure eggs are cooked well, no caffeine and raw sprouts which includes radish and verbatim beans.
